1991 Fifth Five-Year Development Plan
The PELITA V (Fifth Five-Year Development Plan) stamp series, issued on April 01, 1991, is an issue documenting the progress of technology and industrialization in Indonesia during the early 1990s. The stamp designs highlight two vital aspects of modern development: Industrial Plant Capacity Expansion, symbolizing the independence of the industrial sector, and The Use of Computers, reflecting the early era of digitalization and efficiency in national bureaucratic and technocratic systems. Technically, these stamps were produced using offset-lithography on unwatermarked paper in a horizontal format measuring 32.0 x 24.0 mm. Featuring a 12½ perforation gauge, the set consists of two denominations: Rp75 and Rp200. This Mint condition collection (unused) serves as a philatelic artifact recording Indonesia's transition towards an industrial nation beginning to adopt information technology.
