Anti-Smoking Campaign
The Anti-Smoking Campaign stamp, issued on May 31, 1991, is a commemorative issue released in conjunction with World No Tobacco Day. The stamp design conveys a powerful and direct public health message through the illustration of a Cigarette, Lungs, and a Skull, symbolizing the fatal impact of smoking on human organs. Technically, this stamp was produced using offset-lithography on unwatermarked paper in a horizontal format measuring 32.0 x 24.0 mm. Featuring a 12½ perforation gauge, the set consists of a single denomination of Rp90. This Mint condition specimen (unused) is a significant philatelic artifact recording the early history of large-scale anti-smoking campaigns in Indonesia.
