The President Soekarno stamp series, issued in January 1967, is one of the final definitive issues featuring the classic side profile portrait of President Soekarno. Unlike the extensive series from the previous year, this single-value Rp12 issue was produced using offset-lithography on unwatermarked paper. With dimensions of 25.0 x 32.0 mm and a 12 x 12½ perforation gauge, the stamp showcases the iconic side profile painting. This Mint condition specimen (unused) is a significant philatelic artifact, marking the final period of the Old Order era in Indonesian postal history.
