1990 Fifth Five-Year Development Plan
The PELITA V (Fifth Five-Year Development Plan) stamp series, issued on April 01, 1990, is an issue documenting the spirit of infrastructure development in Indonesia during the New Order era. The design highlights symbols of modernization and regional connectivity through visuals of an Excavator, representing physical construction, and a Lighthouse, symbolizing navigation and maritime security across the archipelago. Technically, these stamps were produced using offset-lithography on unwatermarked paper in a horizontal format measuring 32.0 x 24.0 mm. Featuring a 12½ perforation gauge, the set consists of two denominations: Rp200 and Rp1000. This Mint condition collection (unused) serves as a significant philatelic artifact recording the history of national economic and infrastructural progress.
